I’m moving to a new highschool and there’s no one I know. I have no idea how to make new friends. [I'm VERY shy!]
What I supposed to say if some one starts to talk with me? How to talk with strange people, and about what(if i don’t know them)???

Hello! My name is Brooklyn Pierce and I’m the star (or more like, “lost soul”) of the young adult novel, MY LIFE UNDECIDED by Jessica Brody.

Well I say you should just talk to everyone. People love outgoing friends. Plus getting over shyness isn’t that hard once you get used to it. Usually what I think is “You all are very special to be acknowledged by me.” what it does for me is remind me that me and my oppinion are important too. It’s just natural to be nervous about going to a new school. You show confidence and people will respect you. You act shy and people will use it against you… That’s what most people need to realize. Where you are in a school food chain is all about what your aditude is about. Just remember that no matter what you will always have people to back you up.
